About AHEPA National Housing Corporation


ahepa-senior-housingAHEPA  began developing affordable housing for seniors in 1980. Shortly thereafter, the AHEPA National Housing Corporation (ANHC) was formed to act as the official sponsor and development vehicle of HUD Section 202 elderly affordable housing.

ANHC was organized as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization in 1983. Through its sponsorship and assistance to local AHEPA and Daughters of Penelope chapters, the AHEPA Housing program has grown to its present size of nearly 4,700 apartments and 86 senior apartment communities in 21 states.

In 1991, ANHC formed a wholly owned subsidiary, the AHEPA Management Company (AMC), to professionally manage these apartment communities. The AHEPA housing program rapidly developed into a premier provider of affordable housing.

Our plans for the future outline a continued path of expansion and growth as over the next decade, tens of thousands more seniors are expected to need affordable housing. AHEPA National Housing Corporation expects to continue its prominent leadership role, as it has for more than a quarter century, of fulfilling this vital need to America’s senior citizens.
